1972 Began accompanying cabaret singers in social and working mens clubs in the Nottingham area

1974 Enrolled on joint music teaching course between Trent Park (Middx. Polytechnic) and Guildhall School of Music and Drama

1977-84 Mostly working as pianist in West End venues incl. deputy pianist at the Talk Of The Town. Also tours with American artists Johnny Rae and Brook Benton and two radio series with Roy Castle. Pantomime, Orchard Theatre, Dartford ‘83-’86

1985 Assistant M.D. for national tour “Mr. Cinders” (M.D. David Allen,) and “The Sound Of Music” (M.D. Alan Bence.)

1986 M.D. for the childrens musical “The Mister Men” and guest M.D. “Rocky Horror Show” national tour

1987 Went to Germany to join European tour of “West Side Story” This was a small band version arranged for Trpt. Trbn. 1 Woodwind, 2 Keyboards and Rhythm section. (M.D. David Allen.) Later that year M.D. for European tour of “Hair”. Did this for five years! (dir. Johnny Worthy and later Jim Rado.)

1992 M.D. for musical “Elvis” in Cologne. (dir. Kevin Wood.)

1993 European tour of “Elvis”. (dir. Johnny Worthy.) Also M.D. and arranger for “Musical? Oh My God!” in Vienna. (dir. Alexander Goebel.)

1994 M.D. for “Hollywood Dream” dinner show, Essen, (dir. Uwe Muth) and pianist/arranger for many American singers in the Cologne area inc. Dennis LeGree, (Pappa, “Starlight Express” Bochum.) Also made C.D. for Aidan Bell. (English Singer/Actor Living in Vienna.) Talking Blues Houseband (Keyboards; Weekly Live-Blues-Talk-Show hosted by Richard Bargel)

1995 2nd Elvis tour then small tour and CD with American jazz/blues saxophonist Big Jay McNeely. Also M.D. for Cologne production of Nunsense. (dir. Dick Top.)

1996-2000 Mainly working with Cologne based show band as keyboards/arranger. This includes much T.V. and Radio and backing stars such as Jennifer Rush, Johnny Logan, Gloria Gaynor and recently Sandra Schwartzhaupt. Also writing arrangements for the above and for T.V. Shows. CD Alex Olivari & Band (Keyboards, Co-Arranger Horn Section)

2001- 2004 Same as above but including M.D. and arranger for theatre tour “Dance Of The World”, Deutsche Post Road Show” and “Jesus Christ Superstar”. Also put together new band for “Limelight Club” in Cologne and “Keyboard Summit”, a Jazz and Soul group with cousin Simon Holliday also pianist living in Freiburg. Began working with Till Kersting Band. Pre-Production of CD. Promo-DVD Till Kersting Band Live at the Limelight (Cologne).  Several Live Gigs in Germany. Made CD with Blue George Band (Fox Music)Also made CD and play Gigs for German Jazz-Singer Simone Helle. In July 2004 played for 3 days "The Golden Stag Song Festival" for Romanian State Television. Rehearsal Piano for "We will rock you" Musical since 2004.

2005-2006 Made CD with Till Kersting Band (ZYX Music / Peppper Cake).
